Path to Awe & wonder

Maybe you are an artist or consider yourself a creative person. Whether you think you are creative or not, you are. Evolutionary biology tell us that the human brain has the capacity for near perfect recall yet very few have this ability because it comes at a cost to our imaginations. We have been given the capacity for imagination so we can anticipate the outcome of our choices and can experience awe and wonder. It's that fundamental to being human. We have created boring and industrial institutional care systems that lack imagination. Long term care has been described as "warehousing our elders." No one thrives in these systems, the best caregivers cannot oporate within these industrial systems. It positively does not have to be this way. Now AI and Neuroscience are telling us that what we believe is reality is due to an

This is not only a path for the wealthy or privileged. Mum and I found a way to make nature accessible. We could not afford a cruise or luxuries, so we simply went out everyday into nature. We called them our mini-adventures. Even in the midst of winter, in the final stages of Alzheimer's dementia we found a way to be in a nature - like a couple of hobos.
