hen our world is on fire, of course, we must deal with this first. We hardly know the extent of the caregiver crisis and levels of caregiver burn-out. The numbers are constantly changing. Initially, researches gave us deceptively low figures that minimized the crisis by averaging all caregiver distress, some of whom were offering only two hours of caregiving per week -which included travel

Now, much higher numbers are being reported, especially for those caring for loved-ones with neurodegenerative disease and those with limited resources and support.

What is sure is that if you are in crisis or in burn-out then you are not alone.
​
What I have learned over my seven-year caregiving journey, and being a caregiver advocate for the last four years, is that caregiver crisis always involves a lack of support. The following path is focused on getting you that support and gaining a mindset that can help you avoid future crises.
